FROM SUGAR BEET PULP TO A BIOMATERIAL
This project explores sugar beet pulp, a by-product of sugar production, as the basis for developing a biomaterial. Through material experiments involving different binders, compositions, and production methods, the aesthetic, tactile, and structural properties of the material are investigated. The aim is to explore the potential of a local, biobased resource and contribute knowledge about alternative materials for designers and the green transition.
