Tangible, Aesthetic, Circular Visions
WHAT? The designer has used recycled felt to create these organically shaped sound-absorbing Acoustic Art Panels to hang on the wall. The design is one example of how recycling can generate beauty and value at the same time.
HOW? Her project is a collaborative effort with a company that produces new materials from recyclable resources. Aesthetics has been the benchmark, making it easier to convince designers, architects and fashion-industry players of the potential of the products to create value.
WHY? Every year huge amounts of unused textiles are discarded as waste or are incinerated. Acoustic Art Panels is meant to inspire the textile and fashion industry to recognise the potential of the circular economy.
