The Power Of Aesthetics
There are few things which are not mass produced in modern society – in the process the deeply personal aesthetics of handcrafted objects have been lost.
Much like junk-food, research would suggest mass produced junk-aesthetics, designed to satisfy everyone, in fact satisfy no-one, causing harm to our mental health, leading to over consumption – like food which never sates one’s hunger.
This project explores the personal aesthetics of metal listeners and the effects on their listening experience.
