The Me-You-Us project has been a three-year EU-funded collaboration between Willem de Kooning Academy (The Netherlands), University of Ljubljana – Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering (Slovenia), and Kolding School of Design (Denmark).
Over the course of three years, these three universities have collaborated, using digital tools to equip emerging designers with the skills to create garments that prioritize diversity,
Me-You-Us project’s core lays in the recognition that digital tools present a significant opportunity in fashion education.
From 3D virtual prototyping to body scanning, and AI, VR, AR, the project has explored how technology can minimize waste, support inclusive design, and open new creative possibilities.
The outcome: An open-source library of nine course modules, freely available for educators and designers worldwide:

As the project approaches its conclusion, the Future Fashion Competencies conference will bring together project partners, associated partners, stakeholders, and industry professionals to share insights, discuss outcomes, and explore what’s next for sustainable fashion education.

- Presentation: Me-You-Us, Building digital 3D competencies in fashion education – A presentation of our website with open-source educational material, and inspiring examples of students’ work.
