About the project
How might we communicate the potential of mycelium in a way that makes it more desirable to consumers and designers?
We explored the aesthetic and sustainable potential of mycelium-based materials. Through experimental design, the project challenges conventional perfection and aesthetics in industrial design. It embraces natural irregularities, promoting eco-conscious creation and shifting perceptions of biodegradables via visual experiments with shape, color, and texture.
