Want to work with LCA-mapping?

Online workshop on understanding Life-Cycle Assessment potential
By Marianne Baggesen Hilger

We hereby invite companies who are interested in or new to working with LCAs (Life-Cycle Assessments) to participate in this online workshop on understanding the potential of LCA. The workshop is part of the project, LCA-mapping guided by the Lifestyle & Design Cluster.

26 January 2023, Monday, 1:30 - 3:30 pm

You will receive a short introduction to LCAs, insights from a recent 3-month research project + the chance to explore the potential of LCAs.

The online workshop will be hosted by Jogaile Zairyte and Leonie Heise. They are student research assistants in the Lab for Sustainability and Design at Design School Kolding and will be graduating from the MA Design for Planet programme in June 2023.

In the LCA-mapping project, Jogaile Zairyte and Leonie Heise interviewed different-sized companies and discovered shared challenges and potential opportunities when working with LCAs.

Based on their insights, they have developed a workshop format that can help you understand where the potential and limitations lie for your company in working with LCAs and find ways to communicate it.

Their aim is to create a dialogue between the workshop participants and share their knowledge about designing sustainable products and services.

What do you get out of participating?

  • Overview of existing LCAs
  • Presentation of one example of an applied LCA
  • Possibility to explore LCA potential for your company
  • Dialogue with other participants
  • Design tools to communicate the potential of LCAs

We hope to see you there!
