Student project
In between solace and grief
Background
A living archive of grief stories, memories, and visual expressions following parent loss in young adulthood.
In between solace and grief
This book brings together stories, diary entries, photographs, objects, interviews, workshop contributions, and visual expressions from twelve young adults, it reflects the many ways grief can shape a life. Organized around themes that emerged from participants’ experiences, the archive explores memory, loneliness, identity, time, and change, revealing grief as personal, evolving, and often contradictory. Rather than offering answers, it creates space for reflection and connection through the lived experiences of others.
