Designerly ways of supporting wood usage

The project explores how the material wood can be used in a sustainable way, from the designer and producers’ point of view. The outcome is a set of Principles, based on the research made, which is a tool for industrial designers, production companies and users to know what the sustainable possibilities are when dealing with solid wood.

The use of the Principles will be showcased through the development of a piece of furniture produced in the collaboration with Spekva.
