The Toilet as a Resource Interface

This project reimagines the portable toilet as a tool for nutrient recovery in dry sanitation. Developed in collaboration with Goldeimer, it explores how design can make a new routine understandable for users and operationally reliable for service providers, while connecting use, servicing, collection, and treatment so that urine and faeces can be transformed into fertiliser for agriculture.
