Together with 250 high school students we will investigate why some clothes become favorites worn often and for a long time, and refine methods for large-scale qualitative research in design.
I løbet af tre skoleår mellem 2021 og 2024 underviste medarbejdere fra Designskolen Kolding og studentermedhjælpere skolelærere og deres elever i 4.-6. klasse på de Faaborg-midtfynske folke- og friskoler. Lærerne blev først introduceret til designtænkning og udvalgte designmetoder fra Future Teaching in Europe (FUTE)-projektet, som de siden anvendte i undervisningen i håndværk og design.
Projektet undersøger, hvordan genanvendte fibre kan spinnes til nye garner til opvævning af nye slidstærke metervarer.

The DECOUPLE project aims to decouple resource consumption and growth in the textile industry. To achieve this the project is paving the way by using product data to extend the lifespan of textiles in the laundry industry.
