Material Narratives
Building narratives in, for, with and around materials in design for sustainability
Material Narratives addresses the role of materials from a broad and holistic perspective when working with design for sustainability and thus places the material as centre for attention.
The objective of the course is to strengthen understanding and awareness of the multiplicity of possible material engagements and involvements in design. This is explored through the interconnected paths: ‘Materials in the World’, Material Circularity’, ‘Material Driven Design’ and ‘Material Research Methodology’.
