Afgangsprojekt by Nanna Marie Christensen

Med en fortsat presserende klimakatastrofe og krigen i Ukraine er billeder af menneskeflugt i medierne nærmest blevet en ny normalitet. Det har påvirket designeren og givet inspiration til at lave seks garderobestudier med fokus på et opdigtet flugtscenarie. Disse garderobestudier har været inspirationskilder til designerens kollektion. Hvert studie udgør en databank af farver, form og materialer, og designeren har bl.a. arbejdet med at smelte plastmaterialer og coate med filt og trælim. Projektet afspejler hvordan et verdensbillede kan inspirere til skabelse.

With an ongoing urgent climate catastrophe and the war in Ukraine, images of human displacement have almost become a new normality in the media. It has affected the designer and provided inspiration to create six wardrobe studies focused on a fictional scenario of flight. These wardrobe studies have served as sources of inspiration for the designer's collection. Each study represents a database of colors, shapes, and materials, and the designer has worked with techniques such as melting plastic materials and coating them with felt and wood glue. The project reflects how a worldview can inspire creation.
