Collaborative conscious clothing by Ashna Patel

HVAD? En kollektion af seks stykker tøj i khadi, traditionelle indiske tekstiler i bomuld, silke og uld, designet og produceret efter principperne for regenerativ økonomi.

HVORDAN? Designer Ashna Patel foreslår med sin kollektion en alternativ metode at designe og producere tøj på gennem regenerative ressourcer og kreativt demokrati. Kollektionen er derfor skabt i et samarbejde med brugerne gennem analoge og digitale workshops.

HVORFOR? Der er behov for at forandre destruktive vaner i forhold til forbrug, design og produktion af tøj. Den forandring vil Ashna Patel bidrage til gennem designmetoder som samskabelse og etisk produktion.

WHAT? A limited collection of six socially-designed garments hand-crafted from khadi cotton, a traditional Indian textile. They have been designed and produced according to the principles of regenerative economy.

HOW? Designer Ashna Patel’s collection offers an alternative method of designing and producing clothing with regenerative resources and through creative democracy. The collection has been created in collaboration with users through analogue and digital workshops.

WHY? There is a need to change destructive habits in relation to design, production and consumption of clothing. Ashna Patel is determined to contribute to this change through design methods such as co-creation and ethical production.
